Located by Katsura River.  Two guestrooms on the second floor and two guestrooms on the third floor. Built in 1908 and is registered as the national cultural assets. One of the features of the building is its materials and its supreme standard of architecture. More than two hundred fifty years old Japanese red cedar woods are used. The red cedar is the most luxurious material for the traditional structures in the eastern area of Japan. Yokoyama Taikan, the world renowned Japanese painting artist, is among the frequent guests.
